Please help out family and friends of Rodrigo Castillo!
We received an e-mail from Way Joe who reached out to us in hopes that we can help with the murder of their dear friend, brother to many, and only son.
FULL STORY: Rodrigo Castillo was shot in the early morning hours of 8/3/18 (last Friday). His car was found in the right lane on I-20 at MLK and he passed away shortly after. In short, investigators don't have much to go on and we are trying to generate as much awareness as we can in hopes that the girl that she went on the date with will step forward, or if anyone who was on I-20 between 11:30 PM Thursday night and 1 AM Friday morning saw anything that could help investigators.
The girl is not a suspect, but can help the authorities with piecing together a timeline and we know she is South American graduate student at either Emory or Georgia State.

Words cannot express the emotions that we as a community are feeling, but it is another thing entirely to watch a mother lose her only son and not have any closure.
There will be a candlelight vigil at Caffeinated CrossFit to share memories and draw comfort from those that loved Rodrigo and want to help find the girl who could provide more information on his last night.
