Cruise Ship Fight Turns Violent

Twenty-three people--including six men and three teenagers removed involuntarily--were taken off a Carnival Cruise Lines ship after being part of violent brawls and intimidating behavior while at sea.

Passengers described the trip as “the cruise from hell” and noted that the men appeared to be part of a large family.

"They were looking for trouble from the minute they got on the ship,” a woman known as Katie told an Australian radio station.

Later, this same group was apparently involved in a nightclub fight that also found Carnival security personnel being filmed kicking and assaulting a man. The ship was traveling to Melbourne, Australia, from the French territory New Caledonia, and had to make an unscheduled stop in Eden, New South Wales, so the instigators could be removed.
